About Touchline Atlas

Free football forecasts, locked before kickoff and graded in public.

Touchline Atlas publishes win, draw and loss probabilities for every match in the leagues we cover. A statistical model sets the numbers, AI tools help gather and explain the evidence, and every forecast is locked before kickoff (normally 24 hours before), fingerprinted in a public ledger and graded after full time. There is no account and no paid tier.

Why we built it

Football forecasts are easy to publish and hard to check. A pick posted after kickoff, a probability rounded up after the result, a miss that quietly disappears: none of it can be verified from the outside.

We wanted forecasts you can hold us to. Every number is published before the match, cannot be edited after the lock and stays on the page whether it was right or wrong. The track record is calculated from those locked numbers, not typed in by hand.

What you get, free

  • Win, draw and loss probabilities for every covered match, plus the most likely scores, over/under 2.5 and both teams to score.
  • The reasons behind each number: form, head-to-head, sourced team news and how confident the model is.
  • A public record of every forecast, with the hash that shows it was not changed.
  • Season forecasts, team pages and results, with no account, no paywall and no bookmaker links.

Our principles

Four rules decide what goes on the site.

1

Evidence first

The numbers come from verified data. A result counts only when two independent sources agree, and team news only with a dated source and a link.

2

Probabilities, not promises

A 60% favourite still fails to win four times in ten. We show the probability, how confident we are and what could go wrong, never a guarantee.

3

A permanent record

Every forecast is locked before kickoff (normally 24 hours before), fingerprinted with SHA-256 and graded after full time. Misses stay on the page.

4

Free and independent

No account, no paid tier and no bookmaker deals. We are not affiliated with any club, league or AI provider.

What we cover

Domestic leagues and the three UEFA club competitions. A competition is added only once its fixture and result sources are confirmed and its model has been backtested; where calibration falls short, the league page says so.

Who runs Touchline Atlas

Touchline Atlas is an independent project. It is not owned by or affiliated with any club, league, bookmaker or AI company; club names are used only to identify teams, and we do not use club crests or competition logos.

The published probabilities come from a statistical model we run ourselves. AI tools, Claude by Anthropic and Codex by OpenAI, help collect team news and draft match analysis. Their own forecasts are graded in shadow and do not change the published numbers, and written analysis is published only after a human editor has checked each claim against its source.

Operator: The Touchline Atlas, run by one independent publisher. Match analysis and articles are edited and fact-checked by Mr. 07, the pen name of the site’s editor, who is responsible for everything published here.

Contact: [email protected], or the contact form for corrections.

How the site is paid for

Touchline Atlas is free for readers and has no paid tier. We do not take money from bookmakers and do not use affiliate links. Running costs, mainly hosting and the AI tools, are covered by the operator.

If we add a voluntary way to support the site, or a sponsor that is not a bookmaker, it will be named on this page.
