Touchline Atlas publishes free football forecasts from a statistical model, tests AI analysts against it in public and locks every forecast before kickoff. Journalists and researchers are welcome to use our numbers and data with a credit and a link.

How to cite our numbers

Our record changes after every batch, so please link to the live source rather than quoting a number on its own:

  • Overall accuracy and RPS: link to the track record and give the date you checked it.
  • A single match: link to the match page; its locked forecast and hash never change.
  • A month in review: link to that month’s report, which has a ready-made quote.
  • Season predictions: each league’s predicted table has a citation snippet and an embeddable image.

Data you can reuse

  • Every locked forecast as CSV and JSON, with SHA-256 hashes, on the ledger page.
  • Season forecast tables as CSV and SVG on each league’s predicted-table page.
  • Licence: Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. Club and competition names are not included in that licence.

AI vs statistics, in public

Claude and Codex give their own forecasts for matches in selected leagues. We grade them against the statistical model on the same matches and publish the result monthly.

Forecasts you can verify

Each forecast is fingerprinted before kickoff. Anyone can download the file and recompute the hash to prove it was not changed.
